Free and Open to the Public

Featuring the Music Department's varied and diverse performance activities, the Department of Music presents a series of free weekly concerts each semester in Hertz Hall. Inaugurated in 1953, these concerts are very popular and well attended by those on campus and in the wider community. Traditionally on Wednesdays, each concert begins promptly at 12:15 and ends by 1pm.

Fiddler Annex Grand Opening Week: Jazz in the Neighborhood presents Wil Blades & Scott Amendola

Our Berkeley neighbors and jazz colleagues at Jazz in the Neighborhood are launching a weekly Jazz in the Neighborhood night at the Jerry Fiddler Annex with this inaugural concert featuring Bay Area organist and 2017 DownBeat Rising Star, Wil Blades; and drummer, composer, educator, San Francisco's own Scott Amendola.
