The Russians are Coming! The Russians are Coming?

The Peace and Freedom Party Presents
As an APRIL FOOLS DAY special, we are inviting Rick Sterling, (investigative journalist and member of the Syria Solidarity Movement) and Gerald Smith (long time PFP activist and member of the Oscar Grant Committee) to discuss "Fake News" and how claims about Russia and other matters are being used to distract us from the real issues: Immigrants, Environment, Single Payer Health Care, and Nuclear War.

This is part of our on-going Socialist Forum Series on the first Saturday of every month from 2-4:30 pm. The featured panel will start promptly at 2:30 pm and the forum will end by 4:30 pm, but folks can stay and talk as long as you like.

Doors open at 2, the program starts at 2:30 and ends by 4:30.

Belleville with special guests San Geronimo

Belleville successfully weave their way through a variety of Americana checkpoints thread throughout by terrific songwriting. Nearly 20 years after they first formed in Oakland, CA, Belleville's well-honed musical craftsmanship has yielded their fourth and most fully-realized official album, Turn The Medicine Down, released in November of 2016.

Fronted by vocalist/guitarist Mark Caputo, Belleville is Marc Burnstein (guitar), David McCullough (bass), Hal Marcus (keys) and David Zirbel (pedal steel guitar).

San Geronimo
Jeremy D'Antonio and Darren Nelson of the roots-based Americana band San Geronimo will be opening the show as a duo with their top notch songwriting and sharp-tongued wit.
