Composer/guitarist Nathan Clevenger's eponymous group has been performing an ever-expanding book of original compositions since 2003, drawing on the traditions of jazz, modern classical, and rock music, as well as the unique music of the bay area's jazz/new music scene. With the addition of a 2nd percussionist in 2015, the Group's current music has added an additional layer of rhythmic counterpoint to the already dense melodic counterpoint. The Group has released two albums (2010's The Evening Earth, on Evander Music, and Observatory, released in 2013) and plans to record and issue a 3rd release in 2016, Stateless.
