What Do Women Want? Actors Ensemble of Berkeley

- The Marriage of Sir Gawain features Chaucer's Wife of Bath telling the tale of King Arthur and Sir Gawain's search for the answer to the question: What do women most desire? King Arthur is saved from the clutches of a wicked knight and Sir Gawain finds out the surprising answer. An enjoyable romp in the Spamalot vein for young and older audience members alike.

Developed by the same team that brought A Hot Day in Ephesus to the Live Oak Stage in 2012, What Do Women Want features book and lyrics by Vicki Siegel with music by Evan Alparone.

The production is directed by Bruce Coughran, with Choreography by Steve Beecroft, Assistant Direction/Stage Management by Ron Houk, Costumes by Paula Dodd Aiello, Graphics and Photography by Vicki Victoria, Music Direction by Louis Lagalante, Music Coordination by Tania Johnson, Set Design by Michael Cohen, Light design by Michael Sweeney, Set construction by Robert Gudmundsson and production coordination by Jerome Solberg.
