Jaroslaw Kapuscinski multi media

The multi-dimensional artist Jaroslaw Kapuscinski was first trained as a pianist and composer at the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, and expanded into multimedia at the Banff Centre for the Arts in Canada (1988) and during doctoral studies at U.C. San Diego (1992-97). He is Assistant Professor of Composition and Director of the Intermedia Performance Lab at Stanford University. His work has been presented at New York's MOMA, the Center for Art and Media Technology in Karlsruhe, Germany, at the "Palais de Tokyo" in Paris, and a great many other places. Among his works are "Pointing Twice" for Gramaphone, Dancer, Conductor, and Chamber Ensemble (2014), "Linked Verse" for Japanese Shô, Cello, multichannel sound, and 3D Stereoscopic Projection (2013); "Possible Bird", for Japanese Hichiriki, Multichannel sound and 3-screen projection; "Yours" for piano and projected body (2000).
