Hamir Atwal will be presenting a set of improvised music on the drum set. Known in the Bay Area and beyond for his incredible feel and tone, this concert will highlight his ability to create and sustain an engaging spontaneous composition for solo drums.

The Michael Coleman/Joshua Smith duo plays intricate, high energy improvisations. The duo utilizes both traditional jazz improvisation as well as free playing and move freely between song forms and open sections.
