Jack Curtis Dubowsky Ensemble presents CURRENT EVENTS: Live music and electro-acoustic structured improvisation to five new motion picture montages exploring the Flight AF447 disaster, Drone Warfare, Futurist Cities, Polar Ice Caps, and the Desert.

The Jack Curtis Dubowsky Ensemble is an internationally recognized new music group that combines acoustic instruments, electronic hardware, composed material, and structured improvisation. Hear analog synthesizer as an unpredictable vintage performance instrument. The Ensemble's electro-acoustic music is performed and recorded live, with no overdubs or sequencing.

Dan Plonsey's Backyard
The actual backyard, seen from under an aging willow tree: yellow lemons against a backdrop of a pink and moss green house. Weeds nearly hiding a striped lawn chair, bricks jumbled, large strange leafy things I must uproot, mint, little white flowers, a bush with red berries, a plastic bookshelf, and a bit of a breeze blowing through. I started humming some of this music here, with all the little houses and barely visible people of the Northern Hills of El Cerrito in the background.

The band:
John Shiurba - guitar
Steve Lew - bass
John Hanes - drums
Dan Plonsey - saxophones
